Books and Social Stories

Books are a powerful tool to not only support language and literacy, but also to support young children's social and emotional development. They offer engaging stories that help kids understand feelings, build empathy, and explore diverse perspectives. Reading together fosters bonding and communication skills, while discussions about characters’ emotions encourage children to articulate their own feelings.
